- Securing sustainable land for gardens
- Designing and building gardens
- Supporting garden organization, leadership, outreach and maintenance
- Utilizing gardens as extraordinary places for learning and healthy living
- Linking gardens with related local food system projects and policy
Volunteering with DUG is a great way to connect with and give back to your community. From drop-in days to long term projects, from digging in the dirt to helping in our office, they have volunteer opportunities that suit a wide variety of abilities and interests. - Cost: Free for anyone that has donated to DUG in the last year; anyone may attend with a donation at the door of any amount.
