When Jesus came to the region of Caesarea Philippi,
he asked his disciples, “Who do people say the Son of Man is?”
They replied, “Some say John the Baptist; others say Elijah; and still others, Jeremiah or one of the prophets.”
“But what about you?” he asked.
“Who do you say I am?”
Simon Peter answered,
“You are the Messiah, the Son of the living God.”

Excerpt from Pr Ron's sermon: "There is no doubt that we live in times which can be quite confusing and challenging. That is why it is such good news that we have a rock solid gospel message, “Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of the living God.” It is that foundation upon which our mission and ministry is built. It is about Jesus, who is the Anointed One, the Christ who was sent by the Father to save the world. It is the living God who sent his Son in order that we might have life and have it abundantly. This gift of life graces us and blesses us so that we might be a blessing to others."

Day 82. Dollar 82. Pound 82. Heavenly Father, we pray for those living without the assurance of where their next meal will come from, remembering them along our Avenues of Hope. We know that our solid assurance in life comes from our foundation in Jesus Christ, our Savior, our Lord, our rock. Amen.
